Born, September 1975. As a child Steno showed a desire to follow his father’s footsteps into the hairdressing profession. Michael, already an established professional, noticing his son's artistic inclination and passion for the profession decided to teach him and give him the experience of his own salon. From there Steno graduated to the school of hairdressing where he was an outstanding student. Steno soon distinguished himself within the school and began to reveal his creative talent in external competitions also proving he could stay calm and focused, a necessary attribute for success in the larger exhibitions.
Steno won many competitions which culminating in his crowning success, taking gold for victory at the World Championship in 2000 in Berlin.

The first competition in 1989, Steno was awarded second place in the Tuscan Championships despite being the youngest participant at only 14 years old.
In 1992- 1st Place at the Italian Junior Championship. Steno remembers the thrill at his first victory.
In 1994 – 1st Place Italian Senior Championship.
From then on began the long climb to the World Championship, full of many successes nationally and internationally amoung which; two victories in the Italian Championship 1999 and 1999 Championship Inai, Camelia Gold (Croatia) 1999, Trophy International Liege 1999, European Championship 2000 City of Strasbourg.
October 2000: Hair Berlin2000.
Steno becomes Absolute World Champion.
After hanging up his competition scissors Steno is now dedicated to training excellence.

Steno since 2002 has trained hundreds of designers around the world and continues to do so with the same passion and dedication that led him to first pursue a career as a hairdresser.
